A soundproof wall for cutting off noise effectively is provided to have excellent strength, structural stability, and sound insulating and sound absorbing efficiencies with the effective combination of materials. A soundproof wall comprises a soundproof member(100) formed by a porous material, a main body(200) provided with a plurality of soundproof member mounting grooves to mount the soundproof member and made with a material having the larger strength than the material of the soundproof member, and a support column(300) installed to the surface of the earth to support the main body.
