<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scrubber treatment apparatus which always retains the absorption treatment capability by regenerating the filler layer while continuing, without interruption, a treatment of absorbing harmful substances in a target gas and allows a reduction of the maintenance cost. <P>SOLUTION: A filler layer 111 arranged within a first scrubber packed column 10 of the scrubber treatment apparatus 1 consists of three containers Fa, Fb and Fc packed with a large number of fillers and arranged on a belt conveyer 15 in a laminated form. Among the three containers, the one of the longest installation time is taken out from the scrubber packed column into the regeneration section 20, and a reserve container Fd standing by in the regeneration section is mounted on the belt conveyer of the scrubber packed column. The container having been taken out into the regeneration section is immersed in a cleaning solution 23 in a cleaning area 21 so as to clean, and deposit adhered to the fillers during the absorption treatment is removed.
