<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a beam adjusting device capable of electrically switching the beam axis of an antenna by using a phase shifter having less insertion loss and easily adjusting the beam axis. <P>SOLUTION: The adjusting device is provided with: a transmitter/receiver for supplying a high-frequency signal to a radiating element of an antenna; an MEMS (microelectro mechanical system) switch connected between the radiating element and the transmitter/receiver and capable of adjusting a phase; and a control section for controlling the MEMS switch so that the beam axis direction of the antenna is deviated in a predetermined direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
