<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a flow rate measuring apparatus 1 in flow rate detection sensitivity, which measures a flow rate of air based on a detection difference between upstream and downstream detecting resistors 5, 6 each being composed of a plurality of resistors. <P>SOLUTION: In the flow rate measuring apparatus 1, a numerical range 24 made up by the resistor 12 and a numerical range 25 made up by the resistor 13 form one continuous numerical range 30 on a coordinate axis in a flow direction. Therefore, since the area between the resistor 12 and the resistor 13 is not insulated thermally in the flow direction, the detection sensitivity can be improved. Furthermore, a numerical range 26 made up by the resistor 12 and a numerical range 27 made up by the resistor 13 form one continuous numerical range 31 on a coordinate axis in the longitudinal direction, and a position 32 which corresponds to one-half length L of a heating resistor 4 in the longitudinal direction, is contained in the numerical range 31. Therefore, since the detection difference can be obtained at the position 32 where the clearest temperature distribution is formed, the detection sensitivity can be further improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
