PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic transistor having large mobility and a large current on/off ratio, and excellent in storage stability. SOLUTION: The organic transistor having an organic semiconductor layer contains at least one kind of compound expressed by a general formula 1 in the organic semiconductor layer. In the general formula 1, X<SB>1</SB>-X<SB>10</SB>independently express a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a straight-chain, branched, or cyclic alkyl group, a straight-chain, branched, or cyclic alkoxy group, a straight-chain, branched, or cyclic alkylthio group, or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group.
