PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector in which a short terminal can be fitted with a connector housing at a regular position. SOLUTION: The connector includes a plurality of terminal metal fittings 40, a short terminal 10 which makes a short circuit between the corresponding terminal metal fittings 40 each other, and a connector housing 50 for housing the terminal metal fittings 40 and the short terminal 10. The short terminal 10 has a bent contact piece 17 which is operated for pushing work when the terminal is inserted into the connector housing 50, and a bent supporting piece 21 which contacts the contact piece 17 from an opposite side to a pushing direction into the connector housing 50. When a pushing jig pushes to contact with a pushing surface 19 of the contact piece 17, the contact piece 17 is prevented from being inclined and deformed in a pushing direction by a support of the supporting piece 21.
