Disclosed are bioconj?gates of quantum dots (QDs) having CdSe core and ZnS shell and various oxidases, sensing membranes onto which said bioconjugates are immobilized, biological detection kits comprising said sensing membranes, and methods for biological detection using said detection kits. QDs having various advantages over organic fluorophores can be used for the detection of monosaccharides, polysaccharides, organic acids, etc., and particularly for detecting glucose over a broad range of concentration. |
