A method of transmitting/receiving a signal and an apparatus for transmitting/receiving a signal are disclosed. Modulation frames are built such that a pilot symbol interval including first pilot symbols and a data symbol interval including mapped data symbols and second pilot symbols, a transmission parameter signal including period information in which the first pilot symbols are inserted into the built modulation frames are inserted into the modulation frames, and the modulation frames are transmitted/received. Accordingly, it is possible to accurately estimate a channel and improve signal transmission/reception performance of the transmitting/receiving system.
