An organic germanium composition, and a method for preparing an organic germanium preparation are provided to improve the absorption to the skin and to enhance stability. An organic germanium composition comprises the liposome containing an organic germanium as an active ingredient. Preferably the organic germanium is represented by the formula 1. Preferably the liposome is prepared from a mixture comprising a phospholipid, an oily component, a polyol, a surfactant and water. Preferably the liposome comprises further ceramide.
