The invention relates to a portable electronic photo album that comprises: a frame (1) including computer memory (10); a reader (11) for a digital image medium and for transferring said images onto the memory; a rectangular display screen (2) having a diagonal longer than 20 cm; a control member (4) for displaying the digital images in the memory on the screen; a device (3, 17) for shooting photographs and transferring them as digital images onto the memory; and a self-contained electric current source.
