A whole stream comprising partial streams each of which is composed of content information including still picture information is multiply recorded in units of a packet on an information recording medium. The information recording medium contains a file where object data composed of packets each of which holds pieces of content information is stored and a file where information defining a object data reproduction sequence is stored. The object data includes a packet containing still picture information and a packet containing pieces of still a picture information set including control information.
