<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the power generation performance of a fuel cell by suppressing the drying of the anode side of the fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell is provided with a membrane electrode conjugant having an electrolyte membrane, a cathode arranged on the first face of the electrolyte membrane, and an anode arranged on the second face of the electrolyte membrane, a first passage layer which is formed on the cathode side of the membrane electrode conjugant and in which cathode gas flows and which has first thermal resistance in thickness direction, and a second passage layer which is formed on the anode side of the membrane electrode conjugant and in which anode gas flows and which has second thermal resistance smaller than the first thermal resistance in a thickness direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
