摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship having excellent fatigue durability in a ship having a large cavity inside a ship hull or a large opening at the upper part, specifically in a LNG (liquefied natural gas)ship, bulk carrier ship, containership, or the like, and a method of improving the fatigue durability. SOLUTION: In the ship having the ship hull with a welded structure having the large opening at the upper part, the welded part of the steel member constituting the ship hull has an impact mark having the radius of curvature R of 1.0-10.0 mm and the depth D in the thickness direction from the surface of the steel member of 1.0 mm or less at least in a part of a weld toe requiring that the relationship between the radius of curvature rmm of a cross-sectional form in the weld toe and the thickness tmm of the steel member is r≥t/4.
