<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer system for shortening a time for a failover. <P>SOLUTION: This management server acquires server configuration information, and constitutes a logic section provided with constitution corresponding to an active server in this stand-by server, based on the acquired configuration information (a first step), the stand-by server activates the constituted logic section, and stops allocation of a resource of the first processor to the logic section, when the activated logic section enters a prescribed state, to suspend the logic section, and the management server detects a failure in the active server, stops the faulty active server, when detecting a failure in the active server, retrieves the logic section provided with the constitution corresponding to the faulty active server, restarts allocation of the resource of the first processor to the retrieved logic section, and completes the activation of the logic section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
