PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact capable of securing a stable contact area (pressing area) of a tool without influencing reduction of size and pitch of a connector, and capable of carrying a large current. SOLUTION: In the L-shaped contact 30 provided with a contact part 32 contacting a mating object, fixation parts 34 fixed to a housing 82, and a connection part 36 connected to a connection object, a hole 38 is formed on a bent part between the fixation parts 34 and the connection part 36, and when the contact 30 is fixed to the housing 82, it is inserted by pushing an end surface 40 of the hole 38.
