PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide laminated glass for vehicle windows, which has a good appearance and blocks light in the ultraviolet region as well as visible light near the ultraviolet region. SOLUTION: The laminated glass has an interlayer film having a transmittance T<SB>400</SB>of≤15% and has optical characteristics wherein the transmittance T<SB>400</SB>is≤10% and the visible light transmittance is≥70%. In the laminated glass 1 for vehicle windows, the x-y chromaticity coordinates of the light from a standard light source C penetrating through the laminated glass is 0.305<x<0.334 and 0.326<y<0.373, or the yellow index YI is 5-8.
