<p>A manufacturing method of a carbon nanotube is provided to supply a refined and/or cut carbon nanotube of which a quality is high by heat-treating a mixture of the carbon nanotube after mixing the mixture of the carbon nanotube and an oxidation catalyst without damage of the carbon nanotube. A manufacturing method of a carbon nanotube comprises a step of heat-treating a mixture of the carbon nanotube after mixing the mixture of the carbon nanotube and an oxidation catalyst. The oxidation catalyst is metal ions, metal salts or metal complex. Metals comprised in the metal ions, the metal salts or the metal complex are selected from a group consisting of Fe, Ni, Zn, Cu, Mn, Al, Ti, Cr, V, Mo, Ru, Rh, Pd, Ag, Cd, Re, Os, Ir, Pt, Au, Sn, Pb and W.</p> |
