A plasma display panel is provided to increase the bright room contrast and the black rate efficiently by coloring the front substrate, the front dielectric layer and the partition. A plasma display panel comprises the rear substrate(10), the front substrate(15), the partition, the address electrode(11), the rear dielectric layer(12), the sign electrode(16), and the front dielectric layer(17). The rear substrate is colored with the first color. The front substrate is arranged apart from the rear substrate opposite to each other. The front substrate is colored with the second color. The partition is arranged at the intervening space between the front substrate and rear substrate. The partition defines a plurality of discharge cells. The rear dielectric layer covers the address electrode. The rear dielectric layer is formed in the rear substrate. The front dielectric layer covers the display electrode. The front dielectric layer is formed in the front substrate. The partition is colored with the third and fourth colors. The front dielectric layer comprises the first dielectric layer colored to the fifth color and the second dielectric layer colored to the sixth color. |
