A beverage for the relief of hangover, and a method for preparing the beverage for the relief of hangover are provided to allow the side effect due to hangover to be relieved rapidly by protecting the central nervous system and digestive organ. A beverage for the relief of hangover comprises 3-5 wt% of a concentrated extract extracted from a mixture comprising 12-13 wt% of Puerariae Flos, 22-23 wt% of Citrus unshiu MARKOVICH., 32-33 wt% of a gingko nut, and 32-33 wt% of Mentha arvensis L.; 13-17 wt% of an additive comprising 35-36.95 wt% of white sugar, 26.62-27.71 wt% of an apple juice, 4.44-4.62 wt% of taurine, 22.19-23.09 wt% of high fructose corn syrup, 0.16-0.17 wt% of stevioside, 0.27-0.28 wt% of sodium chloride, 0.27-0.28 wt% of sodium citrate, 8.43-8.77 wt% of beta-cyclodextrin, and 0.13-0.14 wt% of monosodium glutamate; and 80-82 wt% of purified water.
