<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic grinding method and an apparatus capable of concurrently improving planar accuracy and shape accuracy of a non-magnetic material (object to be worked) by a simple method. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetic grinding method includes a step of mounting a magnetically sensitive abrasive 3 and a magnet A4 on a worked surface 2 of the non-magnetic material 1 in this sequence, a step of placing a magnet B5 below the material 1, a step of revolving the magnet A4 above the worked surface 2 while rotating it via magnetic force occurring in a gap between the magnets A4 and B5, and moving the abrasive 3 relatively to the surface 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
