<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a plurality of vibration areas on a soundboard with less man-hour in an electronic musical instrument with the soundboard. <P>SOLUTION: A long sideways rectangular soundboard 3 is mounted on a rear face of an electronic piano 1. A plurality of sound ribs 5 and blocks for damping (damping members) 6 and 7 are joined to the soundboard 3. The damping members 6 and 7 are respectively arranged to be opposed to upper two corners of the soundboard 3 so as to form two middle and high vibration areas A2 and A3 and a low vibration area A1. In the low vibration area A1, a vibration unit for low vibration 8 is fixed, and vibration units for middle and high vibration 9 and 10 are respectively mounted in the middle and high vibration areas A2 and A3. The vibration units 8, 9 and 10 are driven in accordance with a musical sound signal generated in a sound source device 21, and the vibrations generated by the vibration units 8 and 9 are propagated to the soundboard 3 to generate low, middle and high pitch musical sounds. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
