PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an inner bag for cylindrical vessel by which processing can be simply and inexpensively performed regardless of size of the cylindrical vessel and the inner bag can completely come into close contact with the inside of the cylindrical vessel. SOLUTION: A flat bag barrel 2 which has width of half length of inner periphery length of the prescribed cylindrical vessel and one end of which is closed with a linear joining line 3 perpendicularly intersecting a longitudinal direction, is refolded so that fellow ridgelines 23, which are joined to both ends of the joining line 3 and are in parallel to the longitudinal direction of the bag barrel 2, are superposed and the joining line 3 is superposed on the ridgeline 23. A rhomboid bottom part 21 which has the joining line 3 and a perpendicularly intersecting line 4 bisecting and perpendicularly intersecting the joining line 3, is formed, two triangular bags 12 are formed by folding the rhomboid bottom part 21 along the perpendicularly intersecting line 4. Then thermal press-contact is carried out by making a thermal press-contact center point 12a, which descends from a summit of two triangular bags 12 by a quarter of length of the joining line 3 on the joining line 3, accord with a center point Aa of a thermal press-contact heater A of a semi-elliptical-arc shape to obtain the inner bag for the cylindrical vessel 1.
