PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bolt equipped with a screw thread having a locking function, which keeps the strength of the screw thread and reduces the production cost. SOLUTION: The screw thread 20 of the step-lock bolt 10 includes: a clearance flank 22 having a certain lead angle; and a pressure flank 21 stepped in such a manner that flat parts 21a having a lead angle of zero degree and inclined parts 21b having an acute lead angle are alternately arranged in a continuity with each other.
