PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner case of an air cleaner of an engine, configured to reduce air flow noise and avoid suction of heated air. SOLUTION: The air cleaner case 1 of the air cleaner A disposed on a cylinder section C side comprises a lower case 6 holding a cleaner element CE in its upper part and a cover 3 accommodating the cleaner element. The lower case 6 has a base part 2 supporting the cleaner element CE, an exhaust duct 4 extending downward from the base part 2 to feed air cleaned by the cleaner element CE to the intake side of the engine, a suction duct 5a extending downward from the base part 2 along the exhaust duct 4, and a suction cylinder 5b continuing from the suction duct 5a and extending upward inside a housing chamber from the base part 2.
