PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve which suppresses a fuel retention remaining on a periphery of an injection hole after fuel injections and prevent deposit adherence growing on the circumference. SOLUTION: The fuel injection valve has an injection hole section 23 having an injection hole 31 injecting a fuel, and a hole axis 31j of the injection hole 31 opening at a downstream end face 23b of the injection hole section 23 where a fuel flows is disposed obliquely relative to the downstream end face 23b, and further in the fuel injection valve directly injecting a fuel into the internal-combustion engine from the injection hole outlet 31, the periphery of the injection hole outlet 31b of the downstream end face 23b has a ramp 25 near the injection hole outlet 31b to protrude the injection hole outlet 31b, at an area of the injection hole outlet (the outer periphery of the outer outlet corner 31b2) which is located on the obtuse angle side of the intersection corner formed by the downstream end face 23b and the hole axis 31j, and the length Le of the shortest end face 23b of the periphery between the injection hole outlet 31b and the ramp 25b is set to the range of 50-200μm.
