PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic toilet bowl body which can eliminate the risk of backward leakage of flushing water in a water ejection chamber. SOLUTION: This ceramic toilet bowl body 1 comprises: an outer peripheral wall 1a which is placed on a floor surface F; a toilet bowl wall 1b which is positioned in the outer peripheral wall 1a, which forms a toilet bowl 2, and in which a single spout 3 opened in the circumferential direction of the toilet bowl 2 is provided in a penetrating manner in an upper portion; a shelf wall 1c which is almost horizontally elongated from the toilet bowl wall 1b to the outer peripheral wall 1a on the rear side; and a bottom wall 5d of a top member 5 for almost horizontally connecting an upper portion of the outer peripheral wall 1a and an upper end of the toilet bowl wall 1b together. In the toilet bowl body 1, its rear side is laterally elongated in an almost vertical direction from the toilet bowl wall 1b to the outer peripheral wall 1a; the water ejection chamber 6, which communicates with the spout 3 together with the outer peripheral wall 1a, the toilet bowl wall 1b, the shelf wall 1c and the bottom wall 5d, is formed; and a nozzle mounting wall 1d, in which a mounting hole 1e for mounting a nozzle 8b from the rear is provided in a penetrating manner, is provided.
