PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve transporting efficiency by reducing a packaging space of a wiper motor. SOLUTION: A rear wiper motor 11 is furnished with a motor body 12, a decelerating mechanism 13 to decelerate and output rotation of the motor body 12, housing 14 to store the decelerating mechanism 13 and the motor body 12 and an output shaft 21 of the decelerating mechanism 13 projecting from the housing 14. A part of the output shaft 21 projecting from a gear case 16 is divided into a base end side part 21a and a head end side part 21b toward the gear case 16. A projection 21c is provided on an end surface of the base end side part 21a, and a slit with which the projection 21c is engaged is formed on the head end side part 21b. Thereafter, the projection 21c of the base end side part 21a is engaged with this slit, and the base end side part 21a and the head end side part 21b are connected to each other by a rivet 27.
