<p>The invention provides a light-weight outer sole excellent in abrasion resistance. The outer sole is made of a polymer composition which comprises an olefin resin and a styrene elastomer and has a specific gravity of 0.95 or below, while it exhibits a storage modulus [E'] of 100 to 500MPa and a loss tangent [tand] of 0.2 or below in dynamic viscoelasticity measurement (20±3°C, 10Hz) and has a tensile maximum stress of 30MPa or above. The olefin resin includes ethylene-base polymers and propylene-base polymers, while the styrene elastomer includes a-methylstyrene/butadiene copolymer. The outer sole is little scratched in use, thus being excellent in abrasion resistance.</p> |
