<p>The method involves generating ultrasonic measuring signals with a pre-determined frequency through an ultrasonic flow measuring instrument (11). The ultrasonic measuring signals of the ultrasonic flow measuring instrument are brought over a waveguide (12) in contact with a melt (7).
