The invention relates to a case comprising a tubular body (1) consisting of a heat-shrinkable fabric, said body being open at both ends and comprising at least one layer consisting of a warp fabric in which the weave is formed by a multi-filament yarn (11) of polyester or another plastic material having a high heat-shrinking index. The warp is formed by a yarn (12) of polyester or another plastic material having a lower heat-shrinking index. The yarns (11 and12) are interwoven, the multi-filament yarn (11) forming a plurality of loops which peripherally close the tubular body (1) of the case, and the yarn (12) forming a plurality of braids or chains which are longitudinally oriented in the tubular body (1) of the case and distributed around the periphery of the tubular body (1) of the case.
