SCINTILLATOR PANEL AND RADIATION IMAGE SENSOR

It is possible to provide a scintillator panel having an improved resolution and a radiation image sensor having a photo detector on the scintillator panel. The scintillator panel includes a scintillator panel having a scintillator layer for converting radiation into light. The scintillator layer has a columnar structure. The number N [pieces] of the columnar crystals per a surface of 100µm2 of the scintillator layer and the film thickness T[µm] of the scintillator layer satisfy the following general expression (1): General expression (1): 100 = N[pieces] x T[µm] = 3000
