A vacuum cleaner is provided to be used as stick type without a separate charge when the vacuum cleaner is not used. A vacuum cleaner contains a main body of vacuum cleaner and a suction part assembly(30) inhaling dirt of a cleaned side, and is used as stick type by separating the suction part assembly and a part of an extended passage from the main body of vacuum cleaner. The suction part assembly contains a suction force generating unit generating an initiative suction force when the vacuum cleaner is used as stick type and generating electricity which is used in order to generate the one's own initiative suction force using the suction force which the main body of vacuum cleaner supplies when the vacuum cleaner be integrately used and a recharge unit(35) charging the electricity which the suction force generating unit generates and supplying the charged electricity to the suction force generating unit when the vacuum cleaner is used as stick type.
