A rotational inputting apparatus is provided to perform smooth rotation of a wheel and reduce friction due to wheel rotation. In a rotational inputting apparatus, a center key(120) is positioned at the center and is supported by a center fixing member(140), which is fixed to the circuit board(220) with a holder(146). The wheel(160) is inserted into the outer circumference of the center fixing member so that it is rotatable, and a wheel is fixed on the circuit board with the fixing member(180). A wheel fixing member is inserted into an insertion hole(166) of the wheel and fixed on the circuit so that it is rotated. A detecting unit(222) detects a change of the magnetic field and inputs the information. If the wheel rotates, the change of the magnetic field is generated, so the input of the information according to the rotation of wheel is performed by using a detection value.
