A vehicle air conditioner is provided to optimize an air path in a structure for mounting a single heat exchanger, thereby minimizing a required space together with the weight thereof for compact structure, and omit a temperature control door for noise reduction, thereby reducing manufacturing cost. A casing(100) of the vehicle air conditioner is mounted with a blower(200) at an inlet part and formed with a plurality of air outlets(112) at an outlet part, wherein opening degrees of the air outlets are controlled according to respective mode doors. Any one heat exchanger(300) between a heating heat exchanger and a cooling heat exchanger is mounted on an air path behind the blower for carrying out heat exchange for the air blown by the blower and sending the air to the air outlets. The casing has a mounting part for a bigger one between the cooling heat exchanger and the heating heat exchanger.
