PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer optical waveguide at a low cost having a core form accurately reproducing the objective form and having excellent heat resistance. SOLUTION: The polymer optical waveguide has a core layer and a clad layer on a substrate. The core layer is made of a photosensitive resin composition containing, as the proportion of each component with respect to the whole composition, 10 to 30 wt.% dimethacrylate, 30 to 50 wt.% mono(meth)acrylate, 5 to 10 wt.% (meth)acrylate having six (meth)acryloyl groups in the molecule, 10 to 20 wt.% monomethacrylate having an alicyclic structure, and a photo-radical polymerization initiator as the structural components.
