The method involves determining a moving vector associated with a current image from a sequence of images based on a calculation of correlation between a block of pixels in the current image and another block of pixels in a preceding image from the sequence of images from which the moving vector points towards the former block of pixels. The former block of pixels has dimensions determined according to the moving vector associated with an image preceding the current image in the sequence of images. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program comprising instructions for implementing a method for determining a movement of an entity equipped with an image sequence sensor (2) a module for determining a movement of an entity equipped with an image sequence sensor.
