A cosmetic-containing applicator where a fiber bundle is replaceable as a single unit and where a fiber bundle is reliably installable after a removal for replacement. The cosmetic-containing applicator (10) has installed at its tip an applicator body (30) where a flange-like engagement section (31) is formed on the outer periphery of the rear end of the fiber bundle, a receiving section (15) for receiving liquid cosmetics, a tip shaft (11) attached to the tip side of the receiving section (15) and having formed in the shaft an insertion hole (12) into which the applicator body (30) is installable, a guiding section (16) for guiding the cosmetics from the receiving section (15) to the applicator body (30) in the tip shaft (11), and a reduced-diameter section (18) formed as an inwardly facing flange and reduced in diameter between the insertion hole (12) and the guiding section (16). The reduced-diameter section (18) is split into claw-like holding sections (26) by slits (25), and the section with the smallest diameter in the reduced-diameter section is smaller in diameter than the outer diameter of the engagement section (31). The applicator body (30) is inserted with its rear end first into the insertion hole (12) of the tip shaft and is installed in position by passing the engagement section (31) rearward by utilizing an effect of elastic deformation of the engagement section (31) and the holding pieces (26). ® KIPO & WIPO 2009 |
