Marking of points of interest on the surface of a workpiece and application to optimising the trajectory and angulation of eddy current probes

The light (11) has a substrate made of an insulating material conforming to a surface zone (10) of a metal part (100) for intimate contact of the light with the zone. The substrate supports electrical conducting lines made of a conducting material e.g. copper or silver. Material of the substrate, material of the lines, geometry and distribution of the lines are selected such that passage of an eddy current probe (30) on one line provides a signal significant and representative of the line when the light is in intimate contact with the zone. An independent claim is also included for a method for installing an automatic control test of a surface zone of identical metal parts.
