The tool has an electrical connector (7) connecting conductors of cables (4, 6) to removably connect the tool to an actuator (2) for substituting an assisted programming interface (12) to a control interface during execution of a configuration process of a home automation installation (70). The cables (4, 6) are connected to the actuator of a closure, occultation, solar protection or shielding device (40) and to the tool, respectively.
