<p>The system has poles (2) that are arranged in series in a driving direction. A wall surface (5) facing a traffic route is formed by a wall element (3). A damping element (4) is arranged in a force flow between the wall element and one of the poles, and is directly arranged on the pole. The wall surface is bent forwardly opposite to a perpendicular plane in a direction of the traffic route. A longitudinal section (6) is arranged between the wall and damping elements such that the section is damped by the damping element during impact.
