A method for proliferating Phalaenopsis protocorm is provided to improve the proliferation rate of protocorm without the killing of excellent individual of Phalaenopsis and to allow it to be applied easily. A method for proliferating Phalaenopsis protocorm comprises the step of proliferating Phalaenopsis protocorm in the hyponex culture medium. Preferably the hyponex culture medium comprises 0.05~2 wt% of (N:P:K=20%:20%:20%), 0.1~0.4 wt% of (N:P:K=6%:6.5%:19%), 3~10 wt% of an apple, 3~10 wt% of a potato, 1~3 wt% of sugar (sucrose), 0.1~0.4 wt% of tryptone, 0.03~0.1 wt% of charcoal and 0.4~1.5 wt% of agar-agar; and the balance of distilled water.
