<p>The method involves expanding a hot mother-solution in multiple stages. Exhaust vapors obtained in the expansion stage are utilized for heating the mother-solution, which is expanded in the subsequent expansion stages. The solution in all the expansion stages is circulated in a loop. The solution is guided in the loop through heaters (13, 22) in which the solution is heated with the exhaust vapors, and through flash evaporators (15, 24) in which the expansion of the solution takes place. An independent claim is also included for a system for evaporating and cooling a hot mother-solution.</p> |
