METHOD FOR MODIFYING CARBON NANOTUBE USING RADICAL INITIATOR, DISPERSION LIQUID AND ELECTRODE COMPRISING THE CARBON NANOTUBE MODIFIED BY THE METHOD

A method for modifying a carbon nanotube, a carbon nanotube dispersion containing the carbon nanotube modified by the method, and a display electrode containing the carbon nanotube modified by the method are provided to increase the conductivity of a carbon nanotube by modifying the surface without the chemical bond with a carbon nanotube. A method for modifying a carbon nanotube comprises the steps of preparing a mixture solution where a radical initiator and a carbon nanotube are dispersed; applying energy to the mixture solution to decompose the radical initiator to radicals; reacting the decomposed radicals with the surface of a carbon nanotube; and separating the radicals from the carbon nanotube after the reaction with the carbon nanotube.
