A coaxial cable connector is provided for interconnecting coaxial cables having center and outer conductors. The coaxial cable connector utilizes a contact and shell arrangement defining a strip line geometry for the electric fields generated by signals passing through the coaxial cable connector. The contacts and shells may be formed with planar conductors aligned parallel to one another with a center conductive strip sandwiched between planar ground strips, all of which are separated by dielectric materials. The widths and thicknesses of the contact and ground planes, the spacing there between and the dielectric materials are manufacturable in an easy, reliable, and cost effective method. ® KIPO & WIPO 2009
