A composition for preventing or treating the oral disease and a food composition are provided to prevent or treat paradentitis or gingivitis and to improve economical efficiency by using the extract of Enteromorpha linza. A composition for preventing or treating the oral disease comprises the extract of Enteromorpha linza as an effective ingredient. Preferably the extract of Enteromorpha linza is a crude extract prepared by using at least one selected from the group consisting of 50-100 % C1-C4 alcohols, ethyl acetate, hexane and dichloromethane as an extraction solvent.
