The present invention is directed to a pointing device (100, 100', 100") comprising a ribbon (120, 120') with a first end comprising attaching means (140) configured to operatively attach the pointing device (100, 100', 100") to a portable computer unit (210), and a second end comprising a pointing part (110, 110') configured to operatively interact with a touch sensitive input device (212) on said portable computer device (210). The pointing device (100, 100', 100") is characterized in that the pointing part (110, 110') and the ribbon (120, 120') are substantially flat and extend in substantially the same first plane, and the pointing part (110, 110') has at least one pointing tip (116, 116', 118, 1 18') that extends so as to pass the second end of the ribbon (120, 120') at an angle such that the pointing tip (116, 116', 118, 118') extends gradually and obliquely outwards with respect to a long side of the ribbon (120, 120'). The present invention is also directed to a pointing system comprising a portable computer unit (210) with a touch sensitive input device (212) and a pointing device (100, 100', 100") according to embodiments of the invention attached to the computer unit (210). |
