(METH)ACRYLIC POLYMER PARTICLE, PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION OF THE PARTICLE, PLASTISOL, AND ARTICLE

Disclosed is a process for production of a (meth)acrylic polymer particle. In the process, the ratio between the monomer raw materials to be polymerized is as follows: 90-99.9% by mass of a monomer (X) having a (meth)acryloyl group; and 0.01-10% by mass of a monomer mixture (Y). The process comprises polymerizing the monomer (X) to produce a polymer particle, and then polymerizing the monomer mixture (Y) in the presence of the polymer particle. The monomer mixture (Y) has the following constitutional composition: (a) 1-80 mol% of a monomer having a basic nitrogen atom or a monomer having a block isocyanate as a functional group; (b) 5-80 mol% of a (meth)acrylate ester monomer of at least one alcohol selected from an aliphatic alcohol having 2 to more carbon atoms, an aromatic alcohol and a cyclic alkyl alcohol; and (c) 0-94 mol% of other monomer. ® KIPO & WIPO 2009
