<p>A sanitary pad made from a closed tube of hydrophobic fleecy material incorporating cellulose wadding is provided with one or more strips of self-adhesive material by which a covering layer of foil may be attached to the pad. The pad may comprise an outer layer of fleecy material and an inner layer of wadding. The outer layer may incorporate an acrylic resin providing a strength of 17 g/m2. The adhesive strips are provided with a removable covering layer of plastics foil.</p> |
