An input apparatus and an input method thereof are provided to enable a user to use a writing track having a stroke for performing an indicated predetermined function. An input apparatus comprises the followings: an input interface for inputting a writing track having a stroke(40); a processing unit for analyzing the conversion trend of the writing track(41); and an execution unit(42) for performing a corresponding predetermined function based on the analyzed result of the conversion trend.
