TOOTHPHASTE COMPOSITION INCLUDING RED GINSENG

A toothpaste composition containing ginseng steamed red is provided to remove bad breath by allowing the specific aroma of ginseng steamed red to remain in the mouth after brushing teeth. A toothpaste composition containing ginseng steamed red comprises 20~60 wt% of at least one abrasive selected from silicon dioxide, precipitated calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate and silica; 1.0~2.0 wt% of lauryl sodium sulfate as a foaming agent; 22~40 wt% of any one wetting agent selected from sorbitol, glycerine, and propylene glycol; 1.0~2.0 wt% of any one binder selected from carboxymethyl cellulose, arabic gum and sodium alkynic acid; 10~15 wt% of the ginseng steamed red having a particle size of 1-20 micrometers and containing 70 % of saponin; 0.1~1.0 wt% of any one sweetening agent selected from saccharin, xylitol and stevioside; 0.1-3.0 wt% of any one caries preventing agent selected from sodium fluoride and tin fluoride; and 5.8~7.0 wt% of butyl benzoate as a preservative.
